Syed Bilal is the Founder and Senior Scholar of the Texas American Muslim Institute of Technology (TEXAM), where he pioneered an educational model integrating science, technology, Islamic scholarship, and civic engagement. Through initiatives such as STEM degree programs, entrepreneurship incubators, Islamic sciences curriculum, and civic engagement internships, he positioned TEXAM as a hub for interdisciplinary innovation. His leadership across multiple research centers—spanning economic development, advanced materials and energy systems, and athletics R&D—reflects his unique ability to bridge cultural heritage with cutting-edge progress.

Prior to TEXAM, Syed Bilal served as CEO of Fourgen Software Technologies (2012–2024), where he led the company’s transformation into a global provider of enterprise solutions, establishing partnerships with IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, and AWS. Earlier, as Founder and CEO of Gillani ERP Inc. (1997–2012), he launched one of the earliest technology startups addressing the Y2K crisis before evolving the company into a scalable ERP solutions provider. His career demonstrates a consistent commitment to innovation, community empowerment, and the advancement of knowledge at the intersection of technology and faith.
