About Rafiq Pardesi
Haji Rafiq is a Pakistani business tycoon based in Karachi Pakistan. Stepped into his family business of textile in 1982 in Dubai UAE. He strategically focused on both trade and regional diversification and entered into real estate and gold bullion in UAE, Pakistan and Africa. Established gold refinery in Dubai, UAE under a joint venture with Al Ghurair Group of UAE and served as Vice Chairman. Ex Member Board of Director in JV Companies in Pakistan with Al Ghurair and Emaar for real estate business. In 2016 Haji Rafiq was also awarded “Who is Who Professional Award” (Pakistan Chapter) in the category of Luxury Real Estate Development. In 2023 Greenwich University, Karachi Pakistan awarded honorary degree of doctorate “Doctor of Humane” Haji Rafiq was awarded honorary membership of The Alamgirians Association- Military College Jhelum Pakistan. In recognition of services for the nation, the Nazaria e Pakistan Council awarded Gold Medal to Haji Rafiq in 2017. Haji Rafiq through Barkati Foundation in Pakistan providing free of cost education to under privileged children in schools, colleges & universities (Doctors, Engineers, Chartered Accountants, Hafiz e Quran, Islamic scholars & Mufti education).
