Omair Zaman is an accomplished technology leader with nearly two decades of experience spanning financial services and software engineering. Currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at Bank of America, he has been a driving force behind innovative technology solutions since 2016, playing a key role in designing and implementing robust enterprise applications that power one of the world’s largest banking institutions. His leadership reflects a rare blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and organizational vision.

Before joining Bank of America, Omair built a diverse and impactful career across globally recognized institutions. He contributed as a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he enhanced large-scale systems and supported mission-critical financial projects. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Software Engineer at Elixir and Pak Reinsurance Company Ltd., leading major application development and system modernization initiatives. His early professional journey began at Bearing Point, where he played a pivotal role in developing the Core Banking Application for Tameer Bank — a landmark achievement that set new standards for microfinance institutions in Pakistan.

Omair holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Karachi. He is also an Oracle Certified Java Developer and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), highlighting his strong command of both technology and finance.
