Sheikh Abdelqader, Director of Quranic Studies, is a highly qualified and experienced Islamic educator. He studied under Sheikh Muhammad Jebril, memorized the Holy Qur’an, and holds multiple diplomas from Al-Azhar, including the Diploma of Tajweed (2003), `Aliyat Al-Qira’at (2004), and Specialization in Qur’anic Sciences (2005). He graduated in 2010 from the Islamic International University in the USA – Shariah College. Sheikh Abdelqader has obtained four Ijazaat (authorizations) with connected Sanad to the Prophet (peace be upon him) for reciting and teaching the Holy Qur’an in the narrations of Hafs and Warsh, as well as an Ijazah in the authentic ten recitation styles.

He has over twelve years of experience teaching Qur’an to kids, youth, and adults, and has overseen Qur’anic Recitation Circles at Masjid Abu Eliz in Cairo, Egypt. Sheikh Abdelqader has recited Qur’an on satellite channels in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, recorded the Holy Qur’an on audio CDs, and currently serves as the Director of Quranic Studies at the Islamic Association of Tarrant County.
